Bridget Keenan is an international dancer, choreographer, teacher, and director who grew up in Alexandria, Virginia, where she trained at Metropolitan School of the Arts (MSA). Throughout her time at MSA, she completed her Royal Academy of Dance Vocational studies with the rating of Distinction. She has attended summer programs at Boston Ballet, The Ailey School, the Rockettes Summer Intensive Invitational Week, Boston Conservatory, and Archcore40.
Bridget is a graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA Dance Program, with an additional minor in Economics. She has performed works choreographed by Eliza Ohman, José Arcadio Limón, Adam Barruch, Earl Mosley, Paul Taylor, Yoshito Sakuraba, Jacqulyn Buglisi, Rhonda Malkin, and Jennifer Archibald. Bridget has also performed in Prospect Theater Company's musical theater lab, The Chanukah Spectacular featuring Devorah Schwartz, Cedar Fair Entertainment Company Kings Dominion Summer Season, and New York Fashion Week.
Bridget has worked extensively with Dublin Worldwide Productions, dancing in and directing 'Christmas Wonderland' in Reno, Nevada, 'Anthems of Rock' in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Niagara Falls Canada, and 'Broadway Christmas Wonderland' in Tokyo, Japan at the Tokyo Theatre Orb.
In addition to performing and directing, Bridget has choreographed for the incredible Irish Tenors and Celtic Ladies in 'Spirit of the Dance', who performed at the Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Canada. Bridget has also choreographed the production of Le Grand Cirque Zero Gravity 2.0 at the Broadway Theater. Most recently, Bridget choreographed a new opening for ‘Christmas on Ice’ at the Avalon Theatre in Niagara Falls, Canada, and Eldorado Showroom in Reno, Nevada.
She has been on the faculty at the Belvoir Terrace Performing Arts Summer Camp, Metropolitan School of the Arts Musical Theater Camp, Fantastic Talents, and The Dance Gallery NY. Bridget enjoys teaching internationally when traveling! Bridget is also a certified personal trainer and certified nutrition coach through the National Association of Sports Medicine.
